Annual Jack Traps Open House

Jack Traps invites you to our Annual Open House Saturday December 12 and Sunday December 13, 2009 at our factory store location at 151 Ridge Road in Monmouth. The open house will run from 7am to 5pm both days.

We will be giving away a trap every hour of the open house!

We will also raffle off one of Jack’s Ultimate Ice Fishing Packs, which includes a handmade pack basked with liner, 5 26″ standard style Jack Traps with line, a Timmer Skimmer, a jig stick with sleeve, and a Jack Traps hat. Tickets for the raffle will be available only at Jack Traps on December 11, 12 and 13.

Acclaimed Maine wildlife artist Ed Murdock will be at event to meet, greet and talk about his work. Over 50 of his outdoor prints will be available to purchase.

Harold Porter, antique ice fishing equipment collector, will also be in attendance to display his amazing collection, some of which dates back over a century. Porter is a knowledgeable and entertaining authority on ice fishing equipment and its history. We encourage you to bring in any old equipment to discuss with him.

The Jack Traps Store will be fully stocked with traps, live bait, pack baskets, pack liners, augers, chisels, portable shacks, sleds, cold weather gear, trap bags and sleeves, and all of your necessary terminal tackle: 10 different colors of line, leaders, hooks, jig lures, and jig sticks.
