Barrel swivels are necessary to keep your line from tangling when bait is swimming in circles. Available in a variety of sizes and pack quantities. The smaller the number the larger the swivel. #12 & #10 would be preferred for smaller pan fish and trout. #7 and up for larger fish such as lake trout and pike.
